It was extremely exciting, but Jong AZ returned from Oss without points. The Alkmaar promises lost 2-1 and had plenty of chances to equalize. Soulyman Allouch made the only Alkmaar goal.
In the starting eleven of the Alkmaarders there were two changes compared to the victory over Roda JC. Peer Koopmeiners and Mayckel Lahdo were missing from the match selection with a view to tomorrow’s topper. Then AZ plays against PSV. They were replaced by Lewis Schouten and Iman Griffith. The start of the Alkmaar youngsters was dramatic, because TOP Oss quickly opened the score. It was Joep van der Sluijs who made the 1-0.
Moments later, he had another chance, but this time it went wide. Within five minutes, former AZ player Richonell Margaret also became dangerous. His bet went into the side net. After that, it was Jong AZ that took over the initiative. This gave Myron van Brederode and Yusuf Barasi great opportunities. However, it was the Ossenaren, who doubled the score. This time Thomas Beekman was the scorer of the goal: 2-0.

Voltage back
The young Alkmaarders did not give in yet in the second half. A free kick by Mischa Engel went over, but substitute Souleyman Allouch made the connection after sixty minutes: 2-1. Not much later, Barasi had the equalizer on several occasions. With a great chance on the counter, TOP Oss was able to decide the game. Goalkeeper Sem Westerveld was a bummer for Joep van der Sluijs.
Mexx Meerdink was allowed to come in and forced Jansen to make a save. In the rebound, Barasi scored a goal, but it was disallowed for offside. Young AZ kept pushing, because a long shot from Sem Dekkers went just over. Meerdink again became dangerous with a header just before the end, but again found Jansen in his way. As a result, it ended in 2-1 for TOP Oss.
Jong AZ remains sixth in the ranking due to the loss. The next match is November 17 against the promises of Young Ajax.
