Globetrotter opens its next location in Germany. The outdoor outfitter opens its doors in Trier on March 31st.
The new store near Trier’s main market is the first in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Globetrotter announced on Wednesday. On a sales area of around 1,000 square meters, the retailer offers a range from the areas of hiking, trekking and travel & everyday outdoor. There will also be a dedicated area for outerwear brand Fjällräven.
Workshops, lectures and events are offered on the so-called “club hut” – on the outside terrace of the store. There is also a workshop for equipment maintenance and repairs and a second-hand clothing area.
At the opening, customers can scan a QR code on the store window, which will lead them to a virtual game of the game “rock, paper, scissors”. Participants can win vouchers.
