global peace died in Munich and escape routes were closed

One of the central topics of discussion on the author’s program “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” on TV channel “Russia 1” became Munich Conference on security. The guest of the studio, political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev, admitted that she made a deep impression on him. He highlighted both the good and bad news brought to her.

“The good news is that at this Munich conference the global world is dead, says the expert. – The world of this carbon monoxide globalization, where it was very simple – it was necessary to seem, and not to be. It was possible not to be, but if you appear, you seem to be present. And all these people wanted to appear – the dominant force in Europe, to seem ideologically united. And this is a rather difficult moment for the Western world, because it has crossed the line where you have to stop appearing and you have to start being. They all think that they will do everything with information and political manipulations.”

The most important message, not uttered by the West publicly, but implied in conversations about sanctions, that Russia must take the first step, sounds, according to the political scientist, like this: “Surrender Putin.” “And everything will be fine, you will have an iPhone, you will have a Rolls-Royce… Hand over Putin,” Evstafyev “quotes” the West’s message. “This phrase is addressed to understandable layers of the Russian elite.”

The second news is “difficult”, notes the political scientist. “What we saw in Munich is a post-economy declaration,” he believes. “The economy has disappeared completely: all decisions are made on the basis of political, almost revolutionary, expediency. What is it? I read “wonderful” performance by Ursula von der Leyen. She said: we can do without Russian gas. What is it like? Are you going to buy Russian gas, which is formally, legally “repainted” in the sea into American gas?” The expert recalled that this is exactly what Ukraine is doing when buying Russian gas from Slovakia.

“Ukrainization of Europe,” the political scientist summed up, “and this is very difficult news for us. It is happening not only in the political field, but it is starting to happen in the economic field as well. And now the question is: how long can Europe hold out in the post-economy regime? Will well-fed European states, economic systems be able to hold out in the post-economy regime, proving to the Bundesburger every day that he should pay more for democracy, because “Russians will attack”, because “Vaterland is in danger?” This is the kind of question that we must be answered.”

And the latest news is also good, Evstafiev notes. “The good news is that from my point of view, the Munich Conference has cut off our retreat. We have no way back. And our political elite no turning back. Because it’s an ultimatum. And if we take even a small step back now, we will be torn apart. Just to shreds. And the first will not be America or Poland. China will be the first to tear us apart, which will understand that we are an extremely unreliable ally, that we retreated in a situation where we could win. That our political elite cannot hold the lever. We have no way to retreat. And that’s good, in my opinion.”
