Swedish clothing retailer H&M hosted a surprise party during Paris Fashion Week on Monday and announced its upcoming collaboration with French fashion house Rabanne.
The event in the French capital provided the first glimpses of the H&M collection, which includes women’s and men’s clothing as well as accessories and home items, the fashion group announced on Tuesday. It is the second major collaboration for H&M, after the clothing manufacturer collaborated with French luxury fashion house Mugler in March.
The joint collection, created under Rabanne creative director Julien Dossena, reflects the late designer Paco Rabanne’s signature design language: metal couture, countless sequins and lots of skin. The Spaniard’s label celebrated its 60th anniversary this year and also changed as part of the anniversary celebrations and a realignment of the brand brand names.
The collection will be available from November 9th in selected H&M stores and in the clothing manufacturer’s online store.
