Glennis Grace is unable to get her career back on track, but dinner show king Frank Wentink now comes to her rescue. After a long conversation with the singer, he has decided to book her for the new dinner show Grandeur, which starts in November. “We talked for three hours at my office in Aalsmeer.”

Out of the curve

Frank tells in The Telegraph that he compares it to ‘a conversation between a father and his out-of-control daughter’. “I never dropped her. When it became known what she had been up to in that Amsterdam supermarket, I immediately texted her and expressed my shame. Of course this should never have happened.”

That punishment was justified, but it must also be over now, says Frank. “Although I also realize that by signing her, I am taking a huge risk. Because how will the highly honored audience react to this? Will it cost me customers?”

Glennis’ promise

For now, Frank is sticking to Glennis’ promise that she will never demolish a Jumbo branch again. “I could tell from her story that she is ashamed of her behavior and that she has learned her lesson. She promised me never to do anything like that again.”

Phew, they breathe a sigh of relief at the yellow grutter. Frank concludes: “She understands all too well that by hiring her I am taking a big gamble. (…) She will be the star of the show!”
