Glennis Grace is waiting for the media circus in Venlo: ‘Ticket sales are not going well’

Glennis Grace just wants to perform again after the sorry movie for her fight in the Jumbo. In just over a week she will be on stage in Venlo, but will she meet more fans or more media there?

Now Glennis Grace is still enjoying the good life on Curaçao, but in just over a week she will go back to work. The Whitney Houston impersonator has no money to pause her career – after all, she also wants a new BMW every now and then – and that is why she will be on stage in Grenswerk, the pop stage in Venlo, on Thursday 21 April.

ticket sales

It cannot be otherwise than that RTL Boulevard, Shownieuws and Privé TV all travel to the south of the country with a camera crew on this day, because Glennis is still the woman they want in front of the camera. And what do the fans of the singer actually have to say? And will there be fans at all?

The juice channel Reality FBI made a call today undercover with that pop venue in Venlo and guess what? It’s not exactly storming for Glennis. “The first performance of Glennis is scheduled for next week, and a phone call to this location shows that ticket sales are not going well.”

200 cards

Where popular artists are sold out a week before their concert, there are still plenty of tickets available for Glennis. “Normally a Glennis performance would be sold out or almost sold out, but me and a few others were able to order up to 200 tickets together this week to come along (as a company outing).”

That’s not good, according to Reality FBI. “With a room that can accommodate 550 people, would that mean that in theory it is just over half sold out? Of course there could be a storm this week and door-to-door sales, but the first signs are not rosy for the jumbo crook.”

Critical reactions

Glennis is still struggling with many negative reactions since her violent incident in the Jumbo. She has therefore turned off the comments on her Instagram page for quite some time, just like the Ladies of Soul. News media such as NU.nl do give people the opportunity to respond and the criticism of Glennis is not tender.

People don’t believe Glennis’ claim that it’s all taken out of context. The most liked comment at NU.nl reads as follows: “Why taken out of context? I would like to hear how those younger employees of 16/17 years old, filling those courses, experienced the situation. That must have been very intense to say the least.”

street gang

And one André remarked: “She still thinks the incident has been taken out of context. You don’t just go to the supermarket manager, but you take a whole street gang with you to physically support your story. Fortunately, we still have the images.”

“Just apologize and move on? I don’t think so, the damage she has done is far too great and this will haunt her for years to come,” concludes someone else.
