Today, the 44-year-old from Amsterdam was in court together with four other suspects, where she heard that the Public Prosecution Service is demanding 200 hours of community service and one month’s conditional against her.
“All I was doing was trying to calm things down and keep my son with me,” Grace replied. “She is trying to pull me away from the employee here”, her ex points out to assist her. The incident in the supermarket on Westerstraat in the Jordaan takes place on 12 February. Grace’s son is said to have previously smoked an e-cigarette, also known as vape, in the store. “I have just peed. He smokes thirteen times and he blows out,” says the judge this morning when he describes the situation.
The then 15-year-old boy was addressed by the staff that evening about his behavior and would then have been violently kicked out of the supermarket. He then told his mother what had happened at home. After the images of that event were viewed in court, the singer concluded: “Indeed, the story was slightly different from what he was telling.”

The victims indicate that they are still working on the incident every day. “Camera crews came into the jumbo and my mother was even called by the AD.” His colleague from the supermarket, also one of the victims, finds it difficult to put into words and does not understand that such “senseless violence” could have happened.

“My career has been cancelled,” says the singer when she is allowed to speak from the judge. “Right now I have no income.
