Glennis Grace causes a disagreement in Shownieuws: ‘What nonsense!’

Glennis Grace caused some friction at the Shownieuws desk last night. There, opinions were divided about her performance with her controversial son Anthony.

For three nights they were in jail together after their fight in the Jumbo: Glennis Grace and her 15-year-old son Anthony. Since he is still a minor, the media protected him after their arrest, for example by blurring him. What surprises everyone? Glennis herself now focuses the spotlight on her son.

Glennis under fire

Glennis has Anthony pulled up on stage during a performance in Amsterdam to sing a song by Bob Marley. Being cheered on by a number of fans without a moral compass: it is of course the ultimate middle finger to their Jumbo victims.

Story boss Guido den Aantrekker thinks it’s outrageous. “I see that as a bit of a big middle finger myself, because of course he was also involved in that Jumbo riot,” says the magazine maker in Show news† “There is of course no reason to pull him on that podium.”

Ronald in the breach

Music expert Ronald Molendijk then: “Definitely!”

Guido: “Do you think so?”

Ronald: “Of course, it’s her son! There is no better reason than that.”

Guido: “But do you see all the artists getting their son or daughter on stage when they perform? That is, of course, nonsense.”

Ronald: “Thank God not all, but many. This is also super nice to share, that moment. I understand where you are…”

Guido: “You are so seasoned. You also know that this was done absolutely on purpose to show: guys, big middle finger, we are here!”

When some sports expert at the desk says that this is good for Glennis’ image, Guido says: “For whom? The two of them have been locked up in jail for several days and I don’t think that investigation has been completed yet, so I think this is some kind of provocation. I know Glennis a bit and I think she loves doing this.”

Ronald: “I understand where your thought comes from with a big middle finger, but I just see a very beautiful moment, but maybe I’m too gullible in this case.”

Disclaimer

Guido is annoyed that Ronald is so emphatically in the breach for Glennis, without naming their personal connection. A bit what his readers have when there is another article about Rachel Hazes in the Story. “Just as a disclaimer: I don’t think you have any connection with Glennis, do you?” Guido asks cynically.

Ronald: “Except that she is a good friend of mine.”

Guido: “Oh, right?”

Ronald: “Certainly!”

What does Luke say?

What do they think of Glennis’ performance at RTL Boulevard? Luuk Ikink: “There is a lot of criticism, eh, on this fragment. People say, ‘Do you have to challenge things like that?’ It kinda seems that way.”

Rob Goossens: “Yes, and she herself chooses to show that boy visibly, while you would say: quite a lot has happened, at least leave that kid in the background for a while. This is again super inconvenient and I wonder when the moment will come when Glennis realizes that something is really wrong.”
