Glennis Grace is canceled again after her misconduct in the Jumbo. After the Amsterdam Harbor Club has already put an end to her performance, she is banned from Barendrecht this time.
Outside of her own club tour and the Ladies of Soul concerts, it was the only job left in her agenda was: a performance at the Lekker & Live music festival in Barendrecht, on Friday 15 July. Painful
It is very painful for Glennis, who started performing again yesterday. Both De Telegraaf and Shownieuws were out to film who the hell those people are who still want to go to a Glennis concert. It resulted in quite painful images, including of a woman who quite snubbed the singer.
Apparently the organization of Lekker & Live does not feel like negative press. The Ladies of Soul also recently got a lot of shit when they announced that Glennis will continue to be part of their concerts. “They should call themselves the Sloeries of Soul!” it sounded afterwards.
Unbelievable
Many people find Glennis’s apologies for her aggressive misconduct in the Jumbo implausible. Yesterday at her first concert in Venlo, she also called out that it was all blown up.
Glennis complained about the negative reactions. “Thousands of dark messages written from a safe place. Judgments based on messages that have not given my side of the story a fair chance.”
