Cuyle, who was already in the final last year at the Olympic Games in Paris, achieved it with 14,466 points from the Japanese Kiichi Kaneta (14,400 points) and the Brit Joe Fraser (14,200 points). His twin brother Nicola Cuyle (Gym Izegem) was fifth with 13,766 points.
Paris was the fourth of a total of five heats in the Challenge Cup gymnastics. The last of the season will take place in two weeks in Szombathely in Hungarian. The world championships are held from 19 to 25 October in the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
