Emotional images after the German triumph in the Europa League: During the press conference, the Frankfurt team surprised their coach Oliver Glasner with the trophy. Nobody stays dry.
The proud Eintracht professionals turned night into day after their European coup – and also surprised their successful coach Oliver Glasner during his press conference. With cheers, screams and a strong shower of beer, even the otherwise level-headed coach could not remain calm for long, as the video shows.
“I’m partying until Saturday – and I’m going on holiday on Sunday,” announced the 47-year-old after the 5-4 penalty shoot-out win over Glasgow Rangers. With this success, the Hessians wrote club history 42 years after winning the UEFA Cup and gave German football a new reputation.
