The blood derivatives multinational has decided that this director from outside the family, appointed president last February, should also assume this position that until now was in the hands of Victor and Raimon Grifolswho will now hold other more “functional” positions in the management leadership.
The company, which has informed this Monday of this change in the management structure in a statement to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), has assured that it is a commitment to “a functional organization focused on execution” and with a more simplified governance. With this decision, the senior executive now has full control over the management of the company and the members of the family that controls the majority of the capital form part of the board of directors.
