Mönchengladbach (dpa) – According to police reports, fans of Borussia Mönchengladbach entered the club premises at Borussia Park after the 1: 3 in the Rhenish derby against 1. FC Köln.
The supporters could be arrested at the office, as the police announced after the Bundesliga game.
The fans therefore demanded a discussion with those responsible for the club. According to consistent media reports, players such as captain Lars Stindl and, among others, Gladbach’s vice president Rainer Bonhof and managing director Stephan Schippers spoke to the supporters. A police spokeswoman was unable to provide any information on Sunday morning about media reports that angry ultras wanted to storm the cabin wing. Pictures showed how the police were stationed in front of the stairs to the cabin wing.
According to the police, the fans left the club premises after the talks. According to the announcement, three Borussia officers were injured. The Cologne team bus was slightly damaged. Overall, according to the police, the supporters of both clubs behaved “mostly peacefully” around the derby.
