Gladbach offer for Beljo?
The circle of candidates for a decrease in Gladbach left-back Ramy Bensebaini (27) is growing – not only in terms of the number of clubs traded, but also in terms of their size. After the recently brought BVB into play, the “picture“-Newspaper now also of interest to Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan. The TM community is skeptical about a rumor circulating for the left-back that Borussia is interested in Valencia talent Jesús Vázquez. VfL is said to have already made an offer for a young striker.
Bensebaini, who cost the “foals” 8 million euros in 2019 but has more than doubled his market value since then, is part of the group of ten professionals in the Gladbach squad whose contract is only valid until 2023. A sale of the Algerian is likely if he does not extend. However, after a previous “Sport1” report, according to which Bensebaini had decided on a new challenge, that seems to be a long way off.

At PSG, according to “Bild” information, the national player should be the focus as a replacement for ex-Bayern professional Juan Bernat (29), who should leave the capital club. Bensebaini was already active in Ligue 1 on a loan to Montpellier before Stade Rennes bought him for €2m and passed it on to Gladbach for four times as much. Milan are thinking about the 2019 African champions as an alternative for Theo Hernández (24).
Gladbach rumors: skepticism in the community at Vázquez – offer for Beljo?
The report by “Bild” seems to support a rumor about Borussia’s alleged interest in Jesús Vázquez (19) from FC Valencia. This was reported by the “AS” in Spain. The background to a possible loan is that the young professional could proactively take a loan change into his own hands via a clause that was circulated. However, not everyone in the TM community sees the talented left-back as a suitable replacement for Bensebaini. “If Bensebaini leaves, we don’t need a 19-year-old that we can borrow for a year at best to put him (Luca) in front of the net,” says TM user “CapFan” in the rumor mill.

“Keltenborusse” also resists the idea of a loan for the Spaniard, whom he sees as a comparable type of player to the network and names Joe Scally, Nico Elvedi or Hannes Wolf as stopgap solutions for the post. “So it would be pretty stupid to borrow a player of roughly the same type as Netz for a lot of money and probably also a salary. The fact that the shoe is pushing us much further forward this season and our cash cow is ill is also an added factor.”
Totally unlikely, even if Bense leaves us.
Netz you might already trust to play a whole season and if not, a cheaper experienced player would come rather than an expensive talent. Scally can also play LV.
So currently you have:
LV: Bense (Experience) + Netz (Talent) + Scally (Talent)
RV: Lainer(experience) + Scally
Even if Bense AND Lainer were to go, there would probably still be a polyvalent player who played on both sides.
Meanwhile, the thinning ranks at VfL could soon be filled with young striker Dion Drena Beljo for “further up”. According to “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg, Borussia recently made an offer for the 20-year-old Croatian from NK Osijek. The junior international, of whom coach Daniel Farke is a big fan, is hoped to be brought to the Bundesliga in Gladbach for EUR 3.5 million.
