Today Inside had an exceptionally good evening: the talk show broke through the one million viewer mark yesterday. “Perhaps an exclusive contract for Job Knoester?”
It is already the cork on which the channel floats, but yesterday Today Inside was already a big hit. More than 1 million people watched the talk show, representing a market share of 21 percent. This put SBS 6 ahead of its major competitor RTL 4 with the greatest of ease: that channel attracted 752 thousand viewers with DNA Singers (14 percent).
Contract for Job?
Tina Nijkamp, the former boss of SBS 6, thinks it’s a very nice score. “Today Inside has over a million viewers. Wow. The first time this year. And who was at the table? Job Knoester. At the bar Merel Ek. Job will also receive an app from the channel manager today. Perhaps an exclusive SBS agreement soon for Job?”
It could just be, says Tina. “The negotiating position seems to me to be very good for Job in any case. There is some bad news for Art. His DNA Singers has now collapsed a bit. And scores less than Mr. Frank Visser. For market leader RTL4, it is always a bit of a shock to be surpassed by the much smaller SBS 6.”
Frank beats Art
mr. Frank Visser Doet Uitspraak managed to reach a score of 847 thousand viewers (15 percent) on SBS 6 in hall nine, also considerably higher than DNA Singers.
By far the most watched title on prime time was of course De Slimste Mens with 2.4 million viewers (42 percent), followed by Ik Vertrek with 1.2 million viewers (24 percent). Both programs can be seen on NPO 1.
Jinek is disappointing
Eva Jinek disappoints again. Her talk show, which is plagued by extremely long broadcasts, once again failed to make it into the top 15 with 587 thousand viewers (16 percent).
Both Op1 (710 thousand), Khalid & Sophie (704 thousand) and Time for MAX (628 thousand) performed better.
