Lanes Valery Fernández and Jairo Izquierdo, both starters in last Monday’s win against Real Sociedad B, Girona’s next games will be lost due to injuryas reported on Thursday by the Montilivi club.
Jairusstarter in ten the last eleven days, and Valery will be out for two and three weeks, respectively, due to the same ailment: an injury to the adductor muscle of the right leg.
This season, Jairo, 28, has played 30 league games, 27 as a starter. He is the eighth player on the squad with the most minutes in the league (2,228).
Valery, plagued by injuries, has played 944 league minutes in 22 games, nine starts.
