Girmay enjoys victory in Gent-Wevelgem in Zedelgem

Biniam Gimay enjoyed his breakfast this morning in hotel Zuidwege in Zedelgem, where his team is staying. He is proud of his achievement. I only realize today what I accomplished yesterday, he says. After a coffee ride to loosen up, he leaves for Eritrea, where he will see his wife and daughter again after more than three months.
Biniam will now fit for the Tour of Flanders on Sunday. He wants to prepare in his home country for the Tour of Italy, his next goal in the cycling season.
