Girls’ flea market launches new partner program

After bankruptcy last summer, the second-hand platform Girls’ Flea Market is introducing a new partner program.

The company’s new partner program, which was taken over by Berlin-based MFG Recommerce GmbH in August, offers access to the existing user base of over 2 million registered users who are specifically looking for second-hand items, Girls Flea Market announced on Wednesday .

Participation in the newly launched program offers shops more visibility on the platform through a retailer profile. The aim is also to increase the partners’ sales by benefiting from the “historically low cancellation rate, which reflects the trust and satisfaction of the users with the products on offer and at the same time significantly reduces the high effort involved in returns”. According to the announcement, the program’s existing launch partners include second-hand platforms such as Vite EnVogue and Stuffle.

Girls’ flea market GmbH filed for bankruptcy at the beginning of June last year. Ilkin Bananyarli was then appointed by Pluta as provisional insolvency administrator. The proceedings were opened by the Stuttgart District Court on August 1st and a new investor was found just a few days later.

At that time, there was already speculation about a possible insolvency of the company after complaints to the Baden-Württemberg consumer advice center accumulated.
