The production of the millivanilli biopic “Girl You Know It’s True” is in full swing. Now the media company Leonine Studios has published the first photos of the main actors. The release date for the film is still unknown.
Girl You Know It’s True is produced and directed by Simon Verhoeven. The biopic tells the true story of the riot surrounding pop duo Milli Vanilli. Under the direction of Frank Farian, they became world stars with three number one hits in the United States. Eventually it turned out that Fabrice Morvan and Robert Pilatus had never sung their songs themselves. The result was the end of her career – Milli Vanilli delivered one of the biggest scandals in music history.
The first photos of “Girl You Know It’s True”
As previously announced, Matthias Schweighöfer will play the role of German music producer Frank Farian.
Actors Tijan Njie and Elan Ben Ali embody Robert Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan.
Graham Rogers also takes on the role of Milli’s assistant and Bella Dayne as Milli, Farian’s right-hand man. Photos of this cast have not yet been published.
