Italian head coach Giovanni Guidetti, who won 5 cups with VakıfBank last season, was awarded the “coach of the year” by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).
At the CEV Gala held in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, the “trainer of the year” and “athlete of the year” awards found their owners.
Guidetti, 49, who coached the A National Women’s Volleyball Team and VakıfBank at the night, was selected as the “trainer of the year”, while the “athlete of the year” award was received by Swedish Isabelle Haak, who played for VakıfBank between 2019-2021.
