American actress Gina Carano, 40, was fired from Disney’s The Mandalorian series because of her harsh statements last year. In a recent Fox News interview, Carano has now taken a stand on the “cancel culture” he has experienced as a result of the incident.

– I feel that the “cancel culture” is very dangerous, he begins.

– It seems to line us up according to our social value. And companies will win this battle, he continues.

Cancel culture refers to the widespread boycott of people and companies because of their opinions, especially on social media. In his interview, Carano refers to how companies like Disney have more power in their hands than the individual.

– They win the battle for popularity, because in addition to data, they also have the opportunity to manipulate the masses.

Although Carano himself has been subjected to a cancel culture, the actor still believes he doesn’t deserve to be raved by the Hollywood press. Carano points out that the cases should be considered on a case-by-case basis, and he also criticizes attempts that, despite the call for inclusiveness, only the other side of these things is told.

The actress also told Fox News that she was fired for not following the company’s “general line.”

Has caused a stir in the past

Carano had previously aroused resentment with his comments, but one release was the last staple for Disney. On Instagram, Carano shared a second account publication hinting that politically conservative citizens in the United States are being treated as cruelly as Jews in Nazi Germany. Fans of The Mandalorian series were appalled by Carano’s statement and demanded that Disney be fired from the series.

Carano has also criticized social media masquerading during the corona pandemic on social media, and last fall it seemed the actor was making fun of gender pronouns. As a result, Carano was suspected of joking at the expense of transgender people.

– Gina Carano is not working for Lucasfilm and is not in the flood, a representative of Lucasfilm told People magazine earlier.

– His social media publications, which belittled people on the basis of cultural and religious background, are disgusting and unacceptable.

Lucasfilm is a Disney-owned production company responsible for the Mandalorian series and has created Star Wars George Lucasin set up by. Mandaloria, shown on Disney +, is based on Star Wars movies.
