Ghent Court of Appeal rejects request for recusal in Flor Bressers case: “It is not up to lawyers to interrupt the Public Prosecution Service”

This morning, the Ghent Court of Appeal rejected all eleven requests for recusal in the mega-trial surrounding the alleged drug gang of Flor Bressers (37) and the Brazilian Sergio Roberto de Carvalho (65). The three judges of the Bruges criminal court will therefore remain in office, and the trial can continue.
