You would hardly believe it with those summer temperatures of last week, but there are mountains of snow at wedding location De Kruimel in Gasselte. Fake snow, yes, but with a crackling fire and mulled wine bar, you imagine yourself in a true winter wonderland. Especially so that snow-loving bridal couples can also tie the knot in Drenthe.
“We just make it a really nice winter scene,” says Carolien Pepping. “With candles and dim lights. It’s very romantic.”
