Changing numbers can cause a headache
Manual blocking only works for known numbers. Scam and marketing calls may come from changing numbers.
The most reasonable method would seem to be the one offered by the Finnish Telemarkkintoniliitto, which can be downloaded to the phone Klipi applicationwhich claims to block unwanted calls, texts and emails.
The application is free for union members. Outsiders can use the application for an annual support fee of six euros.
A cheaper way is to register to be maintained by the Finnish Customer Association Phone-Robinson register, through which you can block direct marketing from more than 600 companies. However, this does not prevent scam calls. The register is valid for three years at a time.
In addition, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom can be notified of a ban on direct marketing. This can be done electronically in their Oma asiointi service.
