Eva Jinek’s talk show has secretly been given an increasingly longer broadcast time over the TV seasons. However, it seems that it is not doing the viewing figures of her program any good, because they are under considerable pressure. For critics, the recent broadcast that lasted no less than 1 hour and 40 minutes was really the last straw.
‘Way too long’
Many prominent people think that Eva is simply too long on the channel: from Özcan Akyol to Wilfred Genee and from Bert van der Veer to Johan Derksen. And the Flemish media millionaire Gert Verhulst, who was still at the table with Eva last week, now also joins them.
According to Gert, it is really unbelievable. “Yes, I have Videoland and then you can watch RTL live. Then you think: how long is it taking. Then I’m zapping and then you come back after four hours and she’s still there!”, he says in BNR’s The Friday Move.
