Gerry Weber has appointed Niklas Adamkiewicz as the new Director E-Commerce.
Adamkiewicz has held his new position at the clothing retailer from Halle in Westphalia since March 1st, Gerry Weber announced on Wednesday. He succeeds Aljoscha Kollmeyer, who has “left the company at his own request” after having held various e-commerce positions at Gerry Weber over the past eight years.
Adamkiewicz previously worked as a division manager for online retail at the shoe retailer Hamm-Reno-Group. He began his career at the Hamburg retail group Otto Group, where he worked in various joint ventures with hardware stores such as Obi in the areas of e-commerce, online marketing and marketing and sales. Further stations were the ticket provider CTS Eventim and Dgroup, a consulting company for digital transformation.
“I am delighted that Niklas is now on board,” said CEO Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus. “Our strategic goal is to generate profitable growth in e-commerce. Niklas brings extensive know-how and a wide range of experience in leadership, e-commerce and omnichannel business, which we need here.”
