Gerry Weber brings a new store concept to Belgium

Clothing retailer Gerry Weber is driving the international expansion of its new shopfitting concept “Strong Women”, which premiered in Germany last year. After Poland and Spain, where the label’s first sales areas in branches of the El Corte Inglés department store chain were recently set up in the new design, Belgium was the third foreign market to go.

As the parent company Gerry Weber International AG announced on Friday, the concept was used there for the first time in a newly opened Gerry Weber store in the “Shop Eat Enjoy” shopping center in Wijnegem near Antwerp. It is already the 22nd store in Belgium for the brand.

“The feedback from customers on the opening day was very positive,” the clothing retailer said in a statement. “The teams on site are also happy about the beautiful, stylish ambience and the nice personal encounters and the exchange with the customers.”

“Our wish is to create a place of inspiration for our customers from the BeNeLux region. An ambience in which they feel comfortable, discover new things and can exchange ideas,” explained Bobby Faas, Director Retail Stores & Concessions at Gerry Weber, on the occasion of the reopening.
