Gerrit Hilberink from Noordscheschut recently celebrated his sixtieth anniversary as a church organist in the Reformed Church in his hometown. He was only a boy of twelve when the pastor from Witteveen asked him if he could play the organ. “The pastor had heard that I was good with the tests. Since then I have always played the organ.”
