By the end of this year, Germany wants to almost get rid of the import of Russian oil. That said the German Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate, Robert Habeck to the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Because of the war in Ukraine, European countries want to drastically reduce their dependence on Russian fossil fuels.
