Germany scores thanks to Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt has further scored points for Germany in the five-year ranking of the European Football Union (UEFA) by reaching the final in the Europa League.

The Bundesliga is still in fourth place in the ranking with 75.070 points behind England (106.641), Spain (95.855) and Italy (76.616).

On Thursday evening, Frankfurt beat West Ham United 1-0 (1-0), while RB Leipzig missed the final with a 3-1 (0-2) loss at Scottish record champions Glasgow Rangers.

With the start of the new season, Germany will occupy third place in the five-year ranking due to the deletion of the results from the 2017/18 season.

The UEFA five-year ranking table after the semi-final second legs of the 2021/22 season, relevant for the starting places in the 23/24 season.
