Germany qualifies for FIFA 23 World Cup

Germany has qualified for the Nations World Cup in FIFA 23. The top four placement was enough for the ticket to the final tournament of the FIFAe Nations Series in Saudi Arabia.

“My first World Cup ever,” wrote Levy Finn “Levyfinn” Rieck on his Twitter channel. “Thank you for everything.” Together with one of his biggest competitors in the Virtual Bundesliga, Umut “RBLZ_Umut” Gültekin from RB Leipzig, he could reach for the really big title in July. VBL individual champion Dylan “DullenMIKE” Neuhausen makes the German trio perfect.

In the hammer group of Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands, the DFB team went into the playoffs as table leaders. A win in the Winners Bracket was enough for qualification. Umut and Levyfinn stayed cool and won against Romania (2-0; 4-1).

Then it was up against Denmark with FIFA prodigy Anders “RBLZ_Vejrgang” Vejrgang on the controllers. Umut knows the Dane well, together with him he brought the VBL Club Championship to Leipzig. DullenMIKE and Umut bagged the next win (1:0; 2:1). Only Spain stopped the run of the DFB team in the semifinals (0:0; 0:2).
