Germany opponents Lithuania still without a win at the European Basketball Championship

Lithuania, the German team’s next opponent at the European Basketball Championship, goes into the duel on Sunday (2:30 p.m.) without a win.

After the opening defeat against defending champion Slovenia, the three-time gold medal winner lost 73:77 (41:40) against France in Cologne on Saturday and is now under a lot of pressure.

The top scorer of the French, who clearly lost to the selection of the German Basketball Association (DBB) on the first day of the game in Group B (63:76), was NBA professional Evan Fournier from the New York Knicks with 27 points.

Four teams from each of the four groups of six reach the round of 16 at the EuroBasket in Berlin. Slovenia, winners against Lithuania in the first game of the tournament, will play outsiders Hungary in the evening.
