The dream of the World Cup has burst: Germany has been eliminated from the FIFAe Nations Cup in FIFA 23. Umut “RBLZ_Umut” Gültekin, Levy Finn “Levyfinn” Rieck and Dylan “DullenMIKE” Neuhausen failed in the round of 16 of the national tournament against Finland.
Things looked good at first: Umut and Levyfinn won the first leg against outsiders Finland 1-0. The duo went into the second leg unchanged. DullenMIKE had to watch idly as his teammates initially took the lead, but the Finns turned the game around.
In the 91st minute, the Finnish duo sunk the ball into the net for the third time – and with it the Germans’ title ambitions. With an extremely tight overall result of 2:3, the DFB trio was eliminated from the tournament. Levyfinn and Umut sank deep into their chairs after the final whistle and stared at the screen.
