Despite a great fight and the best performance in a long time, the DHB team lost in the European Championship semi-finals. Alfred Gíslason’s team lost to Denmark 26:29.
A lot of things went according to plan in the first half. The Germans went into the locker room with a two-goal lead. But the Danes turned up the heat in the second half.
On Saturday the German team will play against European champions Sweden for bronze and the direct Olympic ticket for Paris (from 3 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online).
