German volleyball players are subject to Italy

The German volleyball players suffered their fourth defeat in the sixth game of the Nations League.

The team of national coach Vital Heynen lost in Brasilia against Italy with 0:3 (19:25, 22:25, 25:27). Best German attacker was Hanna Orthmann with twelve points. The team started without the exceptional player Louisa Lippmann, who switched to beach volleyball.

In the Nations League, the top 16 teams in the world for men and women play against each other at three venues over six weeks.

After twelve games per team, the eight best teams advance to the final round. The games in this competition are important for the world ranking.
