The German show jumpers took fifth place at their first five-star Nations Cup this year in Rome.
The team with Andre Thieme (Plau am See) with Chakaria, Daniel Deußer (Mechelen/Belgium) with Killer Queen, Jana Wargers (Bocholt/Belgium) with Limbridge and Richard Vogel (Marburg) with United Touch collected a total of twelve penalty points in the two rounds .
The teams from Ireland and Italy were tied with eight penalties each, after a jump-off the Irish won. Third were the French, who also had twelve points to their credit, but were faster than the Swedes in fourth and the Germans in fifth.
