German referee before her first European Championship

Referee Riem Hussein makes her first appearance at the European Women’s Championship in England.

The 41-year-old from Bad Harzburg will officiate the hosts’ second game in Group A against Norway in Brighton on Monday (9:00 p.m.).

At Hussein’s side are the assistants Katrin Rafalski and the Swiss Susann Küng. Christian Dingert and Harm Osmers act as video assistants.

Hussein, who has won four referee of the year awards, is in England for the third time at a major tournament after Euro 2017 and World Cup 2019.
