German justice raids car manufacturer Suzuki because of tampering equipment

The German justice has carried out several house searches in connection with the use of cheating devices for diesel engines in cars of the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki. The equipment would make nitrogen oxide emissions appear lower than they actually are in order to meet European Union emissions standards.
