The 173-time national ice hockey player Yannic Seidenberg, one of the Olympic silver medal winners in Pyeongchang 2018, is suspected of doping and has been suspended both by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) and subsequently by his club EHC Red Bull Munich.
The German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) announced on Wednesday evening that “result management and disciplinary procedures were transferred to NADA by the DEB in accordance with the statutes.”
The association and also the DEL runners-up Munich said they would “not make any further statements” due to the ongoing proceedings.
