German goalkeeper Müller scores from his own half
German goalkeeper Vincent Müller scored from his own half on Sunday. The 21-year-old player of MSV Duisburg scored for a free kick, which went over the goalkeeper of opponent Meppen after a bounce. This was the 2-0 in the third tier match in Germany, which eventually ended in 3-0.
Germany also holds the unofficial record for the goal scored from the longest distance. Goalkeeper Wilhelm Huxhorn scored on behalf of Darmstadt in 1985 from 102 meters.
