Five days after leaving Hertha BSC, football official Fredi Bobic resigned from his position as a member of the supervisory board of the German Football League (DFL), the DFL announced.
The 51-year-old ex-professional was only elected to the supervisory board in August 2022. “The supervisory board regrets that Fredi Bobic is leaving the board,” said Hans-Joachim Watzke as chairman.
The DFL general meeting in March is to decide on a successor to Bobic, who is also leaving the “Football Committee”. Hertha parted ways with Bobic on February 28.
