Frankfurt/Main (dpa) – Criminal and association law investigations have been initiated against the spectator who is said to have shown the Hitler salute several times during the international football match between Germany and Israel.
This was announced by the German Football Association in Frankfurt/Main. The association condemned the right-wing extremist incident on March 26 in the Sinsheim stadium “strongly”.
Another viewer had informed a folder about the incident. “He turned on the DFB fan support. Together with the fan support of TSG Hoffenheim and the security service, the person was first observed and then taken to the police,” said the DFB about the 28-year-old man.
