German authorities temporarily take control of Gazprom activities in the country. To safeguard the gas supply, Gazprom Germania will be placed under the guardianship of the German energy regulator until the end of September, Economic Affairs Minister Robert Habeck has announced. This Gazprom part also includes Wingas, with which energy company Vattenfall has a long-term gas contract in the Netherlands.
