In a surprising compilation, the Düsseldorf rock band Die Toten Hosen, the Bavarian cabaret artist Gerhard Polt and the wind instrument trio of the Well brothers have decided to tour together. In the “Forever: A cultural impertinence” tour, they combine satire with rock and folk music. Tickets have been available again since Thursday (June 29).
The Hosen and the Well brothers first became friends in 1986 at the anti-WAAhnsins festival. Polt joined later. Since then, the dissimilar artists have repeatedly collaborated in various forms. Beforehand, everyone involved was euphoric: “It is a great pleasure and honor for us to go on tour again with our friends from Die Toten Hosen and Gerhard. We will adopt each other’s cultures with enthusiasm and respect, and we will not stop at the volume of our drinking glasses: from 0.2 to one liter, everything is possible! Because we are friends! Forever!” the Well brothers were quoted as saying in a statement.
