Gerd Oliver Seidensticker remains president

The industry organization GermanFashion Modeverband Deutschland eV elected a new chairman at its general meeting. Gerd Oliver Seidensticker has been confirmed as president for another two years, GermanFashion announced on Monday. The entrepreneur has held the office for twelve years.

“My motivation as president of the association is to continue to expand services and support together with the committed GermanFashion team in order to guarantee the approximately 360 members a highly effective and competent performance,” explained Seidensticker on the occasion of his re-election.

According to the association, the executive board will also continue to include Vice President Martina Buckenmaier (Riani), Vice President and Treasurer Klaus Berthold (HB Protective Wear), Vice President Justus Lebek (Lebek International Fashion) as well as Marco Lanowy (Alberto) and Frederick Westermann (Roy Robson).

The former Gerry Weber boss Angelika Schindler-Obenhaus and Silke Kamps from Rofa Kleiderwerk GmbH & Co. KG, however, have left the committee, according to a statement.
