Gerard Joling suspects ‘weird’ Duncan Laurence of drug use

Gerard Joling thinks that Duncan Laurence is completely off track. The Eurovision star is playing the diva and the singer is disgusted by that. “It’s like he’s on drugs.”

The criticism of Duncan Laurence’s arrogant attitude is increasing, especially since he has absolutely nothing to justify that pride. For example, he completely blundered as a mentor to the Eurovision couple Mia & Dion that he put forward. And if he is called upon to do so? Then the finger pointing begins.

Drug use?

Only after the second false performance of Mia & Dion did Duncan make something heard, namely with a rather blurry video on Instagram. Angela de Jong was quite shocked by this: “Look at his eyes. They are very blurry and he has a very strange smile on his face all the time. I do wonder a bit what happened to that guy.”

Gerard Joling now fully agrees. He goes into the Show news from last night quite loose: “I think that Duncan has started walking next to his shoes incredibly. Only wants to be interviewed in English. It’s like he’s on drugs with those weird videos he sends everywhere, that he just doesn’t pay attention and looks around.”

Shoemaker

That Duncan needs to be put on the ground with both feet, says Gerard. “I always say: cobbler, stick to your last. Of course you should never elevate yourself above the people and I have that feeling a bit with that Duncan. Although that last single is very good that he made, I have to say, you know.”

According to Gerard, the entire Mia & Dion debacle proves that it is all favoritism at the Eurovision team of AvroTros. “You can see it: it is one of those gatherings of people who really need to do that. They think: that Duncan has won, then we will also win with this.”

Finger pointing

Ronald Molendijk says at the desk that he is not surprised about the strong reactions to Duncan. “All those reactions are coming out now because Duncan is constantly pointing at other people. Not once has he taken responsibility for his own behavior and his own failures. It would be really neat if he just said, “I f*cked up.‘ But no.”

Duncan and his team are simply failures, says Ronald. “His defense was constantly that it was the sound and then we have now heard that the whole song has been addressed. So it’s not the sound. Then it depends on the song. If you just say so!”

Statement

The organizers of the Eurovision in Concert event also make mincemeat of Duncan:
