In the qualifying sessions on Saturday in Singapore, exceptionally, the top ten was left out George Russell will have to suffer the introduction of a new power unit.
Mercedes saw the British’s weak qualifying result as an opportunity to make major changes to the car. At least the turbocharger, internal combustion engine and control and power electronics were replaced.
