George RR Martin has advanced the date of the premiere of ‘The House of the Dragon’the first of the spinoff of ‘Game of Thrones’ to be released by HBO Max based on the author’s epic fantasy literary saga.
It has been through the writer’s own blog where he has assured that the launch of the series set 300 years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’ that will tell the story of the Targaryen house, will arrive soon.
“Many of those who read this are fans of fantasy, I know. Waiting for ‘Winds of Winter’, I know, I know…”, says Martin in regard to the more than ten years that the followers have waiting for the next installment of ‘A Dance with Dragons’, released in 2011. “But I’m also looking forward to the new TV series. ‘The Rings of Power’ on September 2 and ‘The House of the Dragon’ on… well, you’ll find out soon“, concluded the author.
A few words that come shortly after Martin revealed new details about his work together with HBO Max in the development of new series since there are others four spin-off projects of his ‘Song of Ice and Fire’ saga underway.
The first of them, ‘The Sea Snake’ (‘The Sand Serpent’). Fiction centered on the character of Corlys Velaryon and whose pilot episode is being written by Bruno Heller, the creator and executive producer of Roma. The second title that the platform is working on is ‘Ten Thousand Ships’ (‘10,000 ships’), the Nymeria series in which its showrunner, Amanda Segel, is working. The third project that they are carrying out is the ‘Dunk and Egg’ series, directed by Steve Conrad. The last of the projects to which Martin referred is an animated series set in Yi Ti, whose provisional title is ‘The Golden Empire’ (‘The Golden Empire’) that has a young and promising screenwriter, according to what he said the author on his blog.
