Geniez-TotalEnergies, agreement for the termination of the contract

Through twitter, the French team TotalEnergies announced on Friday morning that they had terminated their contract with 34-year-old Frenchman Alexandre Geniez. No further specification from the French professional team, which received the invitation to participate in the Tour de France. Geniez, who had already planned to retire at the end of 2022, was sentenced to 4 months in prison (with parole) at the end of February for ‘marital violence’ (his ex-wife Lucie Garrigues had accused him), a decision against which appealed.
