The general practitioner in Oss will be closed until Friday evening, because many employees have been lost due to the corona virus. People who have to go to a general practitioner in the Northeast Brabant region can visit Den Bosch and Uden in the coming days.
This was decided by GPs in East Brabant on Monday. Harrie Geboers, chairman of the Board of Directors, explains: “In this way we can continue to provide high-quality care, but unfortunately from fewer posts. In this way we ensure that patient care is not endangered. The measure fits in with the crisis plan of the organization.”
The hope is that the closure of the post in Oss will be short-lived. During the week we will look at what will happen after Friday.
The working method of the GP post will not change in the coming days. People with emergency medical questions can call outside regular hours and it will be checked whether a visit to the general practitioner is necessary or whether a GP should come to home.
